Register for Bikers for Babies!

Step 1:

Once you register, you'll be ready to raise money online, offline or both! If you fundraise online, it's as simple as sending out an e-mail.

Set a goal for yourself and send an e-mail to family, friends and associates asking them to sponsor you. Once you've signed up as many sponsors as you possibly can, get ready for Bikers for Babies. You're going to have a wonderful time!  

While March of Dimes Bikers for Babies is entertaining and enjoyable, remember that the money you and your friends raise goes toward a very important cause...giving every baby a healthy start.

Step 2:

Turning in donations/ Pre-Registration

Feel free to pre-register and turn in donations to the March of Dimes office at anytime prior to the Bikers for Babies ride.

Bring your printed form, collection envelope or a copy of your on-line registration form** and the funds you have collected on Ride day August 22 nd   to receive wristbands, route maps, fundraising incentives and everything you'll need to ride.

If you are a past rider and have not received a 2009 Bikers for Babies brochure by the beginning of August, please contact the   March of Dimes   to send you a brochure.

** If you register on-line, be sure to print all the online forms (including your donors' page information) and bring them to one of the pre-registration events or to the registration tent at Turfway Park   the day of the ride. March of Dimes will   not   mail your security wristbands or other materials, so you will need to pick them up in person. You also need to sign an AMA waiver before riding.

 

Be a $200 Hero

Follow these 12 fundraising tips to raise $200:

  • Start with your own contribution of $35
  • Ask your spouse/partner for $20
  • Ask your boss for $20
  • Ask your best friend for $25 
     
    You have already raised $100!
  • Ask your doctor for $20
  • Ask another friend for $20
  • Ask a neighbor for $10
  • Ask a local merchant for $10
  • Ask a member at your place of worship for $10
  • Ask a co-worker for $10
  • Ask your dentist for $10
  • Ask another relative for $10

Be a Grand Donor!

Ideas to raise $1,000

  • Ask your favorite restaurant or bar to have a “March of Dimes/Bikers for Babies Night” and donate 10% or more of their profits to your Bikers for Babies campaign
  • Create a   personalized fundraising page   and let all your contacts know why you ride and how they can help. Supporters can also submit their donations online – it's fast and easy!
